The BMW M6 Coupe may be a bit long in the tooth by now, but it’s still a stunning looking car. When you pair it up with the beautiful Tanzanite Blue Metallic exterior, the M6 gets to a point where you have to call it simply amazing. While that may sound a bit biased, the forthcoming photoshoot and the consequent build, will back up our statement.
The build beforehand was completed at Wheels Performance. The BMW M6 in question belongs to a long-time influencer in the online BMW scene, M6 Jay. The owner is a well-know on Instagram, where he attracts thousands of like-minded people who passionately follow his daily M6 exploits. Naturally, his M6 is in a class of its own as far as aftermarket upgrades come into play, sporting some of the most prestigious aftermarket parts available.
First, the full Vorsteiner aero program for the BMW M6 was given to the project. The high-quality pre-preg carbon fiber kit fits the M6 nicely, providing both an improvement in downforce and in the appeal department. The Vorsteiner VRS F12 M6 parts are constructed of the finest Autoclaved Pre-Impregnated Carbon Fiber. Vorsteiner Carbon Fiber provides superior stiffness, aerospace strength and durability compared to traditional hand laid carbon fiber composites. Part of the package – and installed on this M6 – are the front add-on spoiler, side skirts, a rear diffuser and a rear decklid.
Furthermore, finishing off the build, is a set of ADV.1 Wheels. Namely, the ADV5.2 Track Spec CS, part of the wheel company’s CS Series lineup. These wheels are light, offer superior strength and come with a contemporary design. The wheels are installed in sizes of 21×9.5 in the front and 21×12 in the rear. For the finish, a combination of Brushed Aluminum and Polished Aluminum with clear is used for the wheel centers and lips.
The M6 comes powered by a 4.4 liter BMW TwinPower Turbo engine delivering 560 horsepower (412 kW) and maximum torque of 502 lb-ft (680 Newton meters). This results in a fast 0-62 mph (0-100km/h) run of a low 4 seconds, with the its top speed limited to 250 km/h (155 mph). For a full photoshoot of this build, take a look at the media gallery below.
