The Vorsteiner VR-E aerodynamics program adorns this Crystal Pearl White BMW i8 with a series of carbon fiber to enhance its already futuristic looks. Furthermore, its looks are updated with a set of custom forged ADV.1 Wheels as well. The BMW i8 garners most of the by-passers’ attention thanks to its futuristic looks, a powerful powertrain and impressive fuel economy.
Developed especially for this model, the powertrain is a combination of a 1.5 liter three-cylinder petrol engine and electric motors, powering all four wheels. The combustion engine develops 170 kW/231 hp and drives the rear wheels of the BMW i8. Furthermore, there is a 96 kW/131 hp electric drive as well, which sends its power to the front wheels and allows an all-electric range of up to 35 kilometers (22 miles) and a top speed of 120 km/h (75 mph). The i8 will accelerate from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in just 4.2 seconds.
This BMW i8 recently visited a Bangkog tuner called Prodrive, where it received a complete Vorsteiner VF-E aero kit and a set of ADV.1 Wheels. The Vorsteiner aero kit is made from the finest Autoclaved Pre-Impregnated Carbon Fiber, which in turn offer the Vorsteiner parts superior stiffness, aerospace strength and durability, when compared to the traditional hand laid carbon fiber composites. The full aero kit consists of the front add-on spoiler, a rear diffuser and a ducktail spoiler in the rear as well.
The ADV05 M.V2 CS Series wheels work great with the Crystal White Pearl BMW i8, giving it that perfect accentuating touch. The wheels come in sizes of 21×9 and 21×10.5 in the front and rear, respectively. The wheels come with a Matte Gunmetal finish. Additionally, these are custom made concave forged wheels and the customer opted out for a Hidden Hardware option.
