Estoril Blue is arguably one of the best color choices offered by BMW today. When paired with a compact and sporty vehicle, like the BMW M240i, the beautiful blue shade pops even more.
The top of the line 2 Series, found just below the much-famed M2, brings a balanced level of performance and looks, combined with an affordable price tag – around $45,000 in the US.
The vehicle is powered by the B58 3.0 Liter BMW TwinPower Turbo engine, good for 340 horsepower and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque. The M240i will thus accelerate from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in an impressive 4.4 seconds. With an electronically limited top speed of 155mph (250km/h), it will also quench the thirst for high-speed motorway and/or autobahn driving as well.
Naturally, the BMW M240i is a perfect starting point for an aftermarket build. Since the vehicle comes with a few aerodynamic touches straight from the factory, it’s obvious that the M240i only needs subtle upgrades. For this build, these come in the form of a set of VMR Wheels and a slight lowering applied, giving the vehicle a great stance and aggressive looks. These VMR V804 wheels come in sizes of 18×8.5 in the front and 18×9.5 in the rear, respectively.
With a Hyper Silver finish, they look great against the Estoril Blue exterior finish of the vehicle itself.
The sporty coupe also received a BMW M Performance carbon fiber rear spoiler, matched with a BMW M Performance stainless steel exhaust system. In turn, this allows the BMW M240i to achieve a better throttle response, more power, torque and a much more impressive sound note as well. Furthermore, the iND painted front reflectors add to the clean looks of the car as well.
