To the untrained eye, the Jatoba Brown finish on the BMW F10 M5 looks similar to Black Sapphire Metallic finish. Even images, shot by professional photographers don’t do justice to this beautiful finish choice when seen by the naked eye in the direct sunlight. Today, we’ve got the chance to view a gorgeous Jatoba Brown BMW M5 sporting a set of ADV.1 Wheels, some carbon fiber parts, and a perfectly executed lowering, all giving the M5 quite an aggressive stance.
The foundation for this build is a clean looking M5 that’s powered by a 4.4 Liter V8 turbo petrol engine. This powerplant delivers 560 horsepower (412 kW) and maximum torque of 502 lb-ft (680 Newton meters). The current-generation M5 will make the acceleration run from 0-62 mph (0-100km/h) in 4.2 seconds and its top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph). However, an unrestricted (limiter removed) BMW F10 M5 can hit a top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h). Definitely a good starting point.
The owner decided to add additional flavor to the car’s exterior looks by adding a series of aero parts. At the front, the M5 features a front add-on spoiler, along with the typical blacked out kidney grilles. In the back, a carbon fiber spoiler sits atop the trunk, while the carbon fiber diffuser beautifully incorporates an aftermarket exhaust system. All of these parts come courtesy of Vorsteiner and utilize all their know-how in creating a well-balanced product, featuring lightweight, rigidity and amazing looks.
Additionally, probably the most recognizable part of the build is the set of ADV15R Track Spec CS Directional wheels. While some of us have acquired a taste for directional wheels, there’s plenty of those who view this is a fab. On the other hand, the directional design really helps to make the exterior of the M5 more modern. Additionally, the contemporary appeal arising from such a setup gives the F10 M5 a new youth altogether. The wheels installed are lightweight, strong and exert utmost perfect fitment.
With these custom forged wheels, there’s certainly a (big) caveat. Namely, pricing. The wheels are definitely not your run-off-the-mill setup you can buy for $3,000 at your local parts store and simply strap it on the vehicle. They do go upwards of $8,000 for a new set. On the other hand, the BMW M5 also isn’t “just an ordinary vehicle.” So anyone coughing up over $100,000 (with extras) will not feel the pain of a custom set of aftermarket wheels like these.
These ADV15R Track Spec CS wheels come in sizes of 21×9.5 and 21×11 in the front and rear, respectively. They also feature a Matte Bronze finish for the wheel front and the lips feature a Glossed Brushed Manbronze finish.
