The BMW F13 M6 is doing its farewell tour. The successor to this best selling model is scheduled to appear sometime in 2018 as the new 8 Series. Yet, the current M6 still draws plenty of interest. Its looks are still relevant, but there are a few options that could make the BMW M6 of this current generation even more appealing. For the owner of this M6, this meant aftermarket wheels.
The build started with a stock BMW M6. This particular high-performance model from the Bavarian car maker comes with one of the best engines the company currently offers. The 4.4 liter BMW TwinPower Turbo V8 engine in the BMW M6 delivers 560 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. By utilizing its Launch Control feature – letting your engine achieve maximum acceleration from a standing start – you can brandish every lb-ft right off the line, accelerating from 0 to 62mph (0-100km/h) in 4.3 seconds.
The owner of this vehicle chose to go with HRE Performance Wheels. For many, these are some of the best aftermarket forged wheels available on the market today. They showcase a prominent design, impressive build quality and, alongside lightweight, they make for a great addition to a vehicle like the M6.
For this Sakhir Orange BMW M6, the choice went towards a set of HRE S107 wheels. These split-five-spoke wheels come with a modern design, exposed hardware and plenty of lip shown. The wheels in this build are machined in sizes of 21×9.5 and 21×12 in the front and rear, respectively. The wheels feature a Satin Black finish for the center and a Gloss Black outer and the inner barrel finish.
With Pirelli P Zero tires, sized 255/30/21 in the front and 325/25/21 in the rear, the driver won’t have any problem in putting those 560 horsepowers to the road. Furthermore, the vehicle received a carbon fiber lip spoiler, side skirts, a rear diffuser and a rear decklid spoiler.
