With the BMW G30 5 Series out, the whole world is waiting for the rest of the 5 Series family. For the moment, we got to take a look at the standard sedan in Luxury, Sport and M Sport guises but we didn’t get to see the Touring model or the BMW F90 M5 for that matter. While the Touring version is coming in the next few months, for the M5 we’ll have to wait a little longer.
However, since we now know what the body of the 5 Series looks like, artists can create M5 renderings that can be quite close to the end design, like the one we have here from X-Tomi Design.
The rendering features the typical M cues, starting with the super aggressive front fascia, with the large air intakes and curtains. The image also showcases a set of M-designed wheels and a low suspension setup.
The new wheels are expected for the BMW F90 M5, as every new M car ever launched came with its own wheel setup to differentiate it from its predecessor.
A new color is also probably in the works, one for the M5 to call its own. The 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 under the hood is expected to output around 600 HP and it should come with all-wheel drive. Since the new M550i does 0-62 in 4 seconds, the M5 will probably be closer to 3.5 seconds.
